| 9ct Yellow Gold with Shakudo inlay. Shakudo metal was used as a decorative inlay on Samurai sword handles! Shakudo can be oxidized from a copper colour to red/brown right up to purple/black. Other natural materials inlay can be Shibuichi metal which can be oxidized to from light blues to olive greens. Other inlays can be silver, Paua shell, green Abalone, black or white mother of pearl. Alternative design: The inlay can go all the way round the ring.
